Luís de Aguiar is a Senior Lecturer in Food Marketing and Sustainability at Harper Adams University's Harper Adams Business School. His expertise spans food marketing, food culture, sustainability, and food security. He holds degrees in Agricultural Engineering (UFRGS, Brazil), Agricultural Economics (London), and Food Policy (City, England). Prior to academia, he worked in the food industry and government roles, including with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and British Council. His research groups include the Rural Resilience Research Group (3RG), Harper Food Innovation, and the Centre for Social Science. He teaches courses on food policy, sustainability, and agri-food marketing.
