Rhian Hodges is a Lecturer in Sociology and Social Policy at Bangor University's School of History, Law and Social Sciences. She holds an Associate Lecturer position funded by the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol and has been actively involved in Welsh language education and policy research since 2009.

Recent publications analyze Welsh language revitalization challenges, economic impacts on minority languages, and digital age language practices. She actively supervises PhD students and collaborates internationally, including academic visits to Partium Christian University in Romania.
