Reneé H. Moore, PhD, is a Research Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health (DSPH). She serves as Director of the Biostatistics Scientific Collaboration Center (BSC) and Associate Dean for Culture, Community & Opportunity. Her expertise spans biostatistics, clinical trial design, and health equity, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration across public health and medicine. Dr. Moore holds a PhD in Biostatistics from Emory University, complemented by MS and BS degrees in Biostatistics and Mathematics.
Her research interests include clinical trials, community-engaged research, health equity, and advanced statistical methodologies for longitudinal and clustered data. She has directed collaboration centers for nearly a decade, fostering partnerships in diverse public health domains. Dr. Moore is committed to fostering inclusive academic environments, particularly in training the next generation of biostatisticians and statisticians.
Her publications reflect her leadership in vaccine trial monitoring, observational study design, and addressing disparities in cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disease outcomes. Notable contributions include analyses of net worth’s impact on blood pressure in African American women and safety profiles of Alzheimer’s drug candidates. Dr. Moore’s roles in institutional leadership emphasize cultural competence and opportunity expansion within public health education and practice.
