Renee M. Turchi, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Professor at Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health and College of Medicine. She serves as Program Director for Drexel's Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program and Director of the Pennsylvania Medical Home Program (EPIC IC), a statewide pediatric quality improvement initiative. As Medical Director of Special Programs at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, she oversees grants and program development. Her research focuses on care coordination for children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) and maternal and child health.
Dr. Turchi holds an MD from Medical College of Pennsylvania, an MPH in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in Psychology from Cornell University. She completed residency and chief residency in Pediatrics at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, followed by the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at Johns Hopkins.
Her work bridges clinical practice and public health, emphasizing equity in care for vulnerable populations. Key roles include leadership in statewide healthcare initiatives and academic program development. Research contributions have been widely presented and published in national forums.
