Sara Moore is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Sociology Department at Salem State University. She specializes in applying sociological theory to real-world community challenges, emphasizing collaboration with local organizations to address social inequities. Her teaching spans courses like SOC 110 Introduction to Sociology, SOC 349 Health, Illness, and the Body, and SOC 470 Capstone Seminar in Sociology.
