Dr. Rebecca Whiting is a Reader in Organization Studies at Birkbeck Business School, University of London. She leads postgraduate research and directs the MPhil/PhD Programme in Organizational Psychology. Her research focuses on qualitative methodologies, diversity (age, gender, class), digital technologies, and work-life boundaries. She holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Birkbeck (2012) and has authored/co-authored books and numerous peer-reviewed articles. Her work explores topics like class-based inequality in museums, clergy ministry during the pandemic, and digital work-life balance.
Key roles include Head of the Qualitative Research Methods Group and Associate Member of the Digital Organisation and Society Research Centre. Awards include the Academic Excellence Award (2013) and multiple Best Developmental Paper Awards (2012–2019).
