Rajesh Bagchi

Rajesh Bagchi is a Professor in the Department of Marketing at the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech. He maintains active academic engagements internationally, as evidenced by his September 11, 2023 visit to Bond Business School where he delivered a talk and collaborated with researchers.

His research focuses on Consumer Behavior and Judgment and Decision Making, particularly examining health-related consumer choices, contextual influences on decisions, and psychological mechanisms in economic behavior. His work bridges marketing theory with real-world applications in wellness and policy design.

During his Bond Business School visit, Dr. Bagchi mentored five Higher Degree Research students (Dipa, Robyn, Hiba, Mark, Diana) and advised Early Career Researcher Dr. Belinda Barton. Professor Rajat hosted the visit, facilitating academic exchanges and local engagement in the Gold Coast region.
