Rachel Boggia serves as Associate Professor of Dance at Connecticut College, joining the institution in 2018 after holding faculty positions at Bates College (where she also served as acting director of dance), Wesleyan University, Dickinson College, and The Ohio State University.

Boggia's research centers on multidisciplinary and mediated performance through digital integration, with emphasis on collaborative creations and improvisation as research methodologies. She pioneers experimental dance documentation and video editing techniques while exploring embodiment in online educational contexts. Her cross-disciplinary work bridges dance with theater, sciences, and humanities to expand performance as research paradigms.
Instructionally, she delivers courses including Mediated Performance/Dance and Digital Technology, Modern/Contemporary Technique, Video Dance Repertory, and writing-intensive Modern Dance History.
