Paul Nelson is a Clinical Professor at the Simon Business School, University of Rochester. His expertise spans Marketing, with a focus on multi-attribute consumer behavior models, brand management, pricing strategies, and the integration of marketing with information systems. Previously, he taught at Purdue University's Krannert School of Management. He has been inducted into four distinguished honor societies: Beta Gamma Sigma, Omicron Delta Epsilon, Pi Mu Epsilon, and Phi Beta Kappa.
His research interests include product positioning, internet marketing, salesforce management, and productivity measurement. Notable works explore price discounts in banking, software lifecycle analysis, and improving product placement through category management.
