Paul Jones is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Swansea University's School of Management. He previously served as Head of the School of Management and Head of the Business Department. His academic career includes positions at Coventry University, Plymouth University, and the University of South Wales. Professor Jones holds editorial roles including Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Research and Senior Editor at Information Technology and People.
His research focuses on entrepreneurship, enterprise education, ICT, and small business management. Professor Jones has supervised 20 doctoral students to completion and secured over £1.6 million in external grants, including projects with the Nigerian government, European Structural funds, and Welsh government initiatives. His publications demonstrate consistent engagement with entrepreneurial behavior, cultural industries, and family business dynamics.
