Patricia Masterson Algar is a Research Fellow and Lecturer in the School of Health Sciences at Bangor University. Her work focuses on improving outcomes for individuals affected by neurological conditions and their families, with a particular emphasis on dementia carers and young carers. She leads the adaptation of the WHO's iSupport e-health intervention for young dementia carers and is a co-investigator on an RCT evaluating its efficacy. Her research integrates process evaluations, intervention design, and implementation science.
