Rhiannon Tudor Edwards is a Professor of Health Economics at Bangor University's School of Health Sciences and a Visiting Professor at the University of Liverpool's Institute of Population Health. She co-directs the Centre for Health Economics and Medicines Evaluation (CHEME) and leads the Public Health and Prevention Economics Research Group (PHERG). Her affiliations include being a member of Bangor University Council, Trustee, and Health and Care Research Wales Senior Research Leader.

Her research focuses on economic evaluations of public health interventions, emphasizing multi-sectoral approaches to prevention science. She pioneered methodologies for cost-effectiveness analysis, social return on investment (SROI), and quality-adjusted life year (QALY) frameworks. Key projects include the Invest4Health Horizon Europe initiative and the iSupport e-health program for dementia caregivers.
Recent publications analyze economic impacts of interventions for dementia care, postpartum hemorrhage prevention, and hip fracture rehabilitation. She has contributed to 400+ peer-reviewed articles and co-edited the textbook Handbooks in Health Economics – Applied Health Economics for Public Health Practice and Research (Oxford University Press).
