Her recent work highlights trends in app-based interventions, feasibility trials, and mixed-methods approaches to assess treatment efficacy. She emphasizes co-production in mental health research and adherence to regulatory standards in clinical trials.
Grants include funding from NIHR, Cancer Research UK, and the MRC for projects on mental health interventions, smoking cessation, and cognitive bias modification. She actively participates in academic conferences, delivering keynote presentations and contributing to panel discussions on digital health and psychosis care.
Jacobsen collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and has created datasets for studies on inpatient therapy outcomes and voice-hearing experiences, ensuring transparency and reproducibility in research.
