Dr. Orana Sandri is a Senior Lecturer at RMIT University’s School of Property, Construction and Project Management, based at the City Campus in Australia. Her expertise spans sustainability in the built environment, regulatory policy analysis, and adult learning pedagogy. She has led research projects funded by entities such as the Energy Pipelines CRC, Victorian Government, and Commonwealth Office of Learning and Teaching, focusing on topics like energy policy, gender equity in construction, and professional upskilling for low-carbon transitions.
Her teaching roles include coordinating and lecturing in the 'Managing for Sustainability' program, both domestically and offshore in Singapore. Research interests emphasize sustainability education, urban planning, and the integration of ethical and safety practices in engineering. She contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals 11 (Sustainable Cities), 12 (Responsible Consumption), 13 (Climate Action), 4 (Quality Education), and 5 (Gender Equality).
