Dr. Carol Janson Bond is a Senior Lecturer at RMIT University's School of Management. Her research focuses on business-related socio-economic and policy topics in energy and resources sectors, with particular emphasis on mining ethics, environmental governance, and Indigenous engagement. She collaborates with industry bodies such as Energy Networks Australia, Australian Pipelines and Gas Association, and the Australian Hydrogen Council.
Her research interests include applied economics, environmental policy, and resource management. Notable projects include studies on mine rehabilitation, Indigenous land rights, and sustainable development in mining contexts. She has contributed to policy frameworks addressing climate change impacts and resource engineering challenges.
Bond’s publications span environmental innovation, ecological economics, and corporate social responsibility. Recent work includes regulatory approaches for mine closure in the green energy transition and distributive justice frameworks for resource allocation. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of Melbourne, emphasizing community engagement and ethical practices.
