Carol Hunsberger

Carol Hunsberger is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Environment at Western University. Her research focuses on political ecology, energy justice, biofuels, pipeline politics, and environmental governance. She examines how energy projects impact livelihoods and ecologies, and how discourses around climate change, economic priorities, and development influence governance and decision-making processes. Her work emphasizes justice and fairness in energy systems, particularly in Canada, though she has prior research experience in Kenya and Puerto Rico.
