Dr. Nathan Salazar is a Lecturer of Saxophone in the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Baldwin Wallace University. He holds a D.M.A. in Saxophone Performance from Michigan State University, an M.M. in Multiple Woodwind Performance from Michigan State University, and a B.M. in Saxophone Performance from Arizona State University.
His research and performance expertise centers on saxophone and woodwind repertoire, with emphasis on solo, chamber, and orchestral contexts. Key interests include contemporary performance techniques, interdisciplinary collaborations, and pedagogical methodologies for woodwind instruction.

Dr. Salazar previously taught at Albion College, Spring Arbor University, and the Jackson Symphony Orchestra Community Music School. He maintains an active performance career, appearing with ensembles including the Capitol Quartet, Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Brevard Music Center Orchestra, and through guest residencies at institutions nationwide.
