Erin Dowler, D.M.A., serves as Lecturer in Applied Clarinet at Oakland University's School of Music, Theatre and Dance. She holds concurrent performance positions as Second Clarinet with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra and active performer with Michigan ensembles including Marquette Symphony, Jackson Symphony, and Michigan Philharmonic.

Dr. Dowler's artistic practice centers on clarinet performance and pedagogy, with specialized focus on expanding pre-college repertoire through commissioned works like Nadine B. Silverman's 'Sonatina for the Inner Child'.
