Natalie Slawinski is a Professor of Sustainability and Director of the Centre for Regenerative Futures (CRF) at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, University of Victoria. She holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario. Her expertise spans strategy, sustainability, and social enterprise, with a focus on organizational paradoxes and community regeneration. She advises Memorial University’s Centre for Social Enterprise and is a Research Fellow at Cambridge University’s Centre for Social Innovation.

Research interests include sustainability, temporality, and paradoxes in organizations, particularly in social enterprise contexts. Her work explores how organizations navigate environmental and community challenges through collaborative frameworks, ecological knowledge, and place-based strategies. Recent studies emphasize regenerative practices and cross-sector partnerships.
Key awards include the FBA Research Impact Award (2020) and RRBM Responsible Research in Management Award (2018). Her grants include leadership in SSHRC’s Community Resilience Workshop and the Ocean Frontier Institute’s coastal community resilience project.
