Miranda Davies-Tuck is an Adjunct Associate Professor (Research) in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Monash University, affiliated with Monash Health and the Hudson Institute of Medical Research. She serves as Head of Epidemiology and Clinical Trials at Hudson Institute and co-leads the Pregnancy Discovery and Translation Collaborative. She is a Chief Investigator in the NHMRC-funded Stillbirth Centre of Research Excellence and co-leads its Equity Program. Additionally, she is the current President of the Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand (PSANZ) and an executive member of the PSANZ IMPACT Network.
Her research focuses on transforming maternal and fetal care through a comprehensive translational approach, including discovery science, epidemiology, randomized trials, evidence synthesis, and implementation. Key themes include stillbirth prevention, endometrial origins of adverse pregnancy outcomes, menstrual health, and reducing inequities in care for migrant and refugee women. She leads the PARADIGM program and the 'Endometrial Origins of Stillbirth' and 'Your Period and Your Pregnancy' studies.
Her recent publications span high-impact journals in obstetrics, neonatology, and reproductive health, with a strong emphasis on clinical applications, biomarker discovery, and health equity. She has received two competitive NHMRC fellowships in 2019, underscoring her research excellence.

Miranda actively supervises honours students, including E. Fooladi and M. Truong, and leads multiple funded research projects, such as PROTECT Me, SURFSUP, and the Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth. She collaborates with leading institutions and researchers across Australia and internationally. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to good health and well-being. She is a key figure in advancing equitable, evidence-based perinatal care through research leadership and innovation.
