Ibi Ibiebele is Senior Research Fellow and Perinatal Epidemiologist at the University of Sydney's Northern Clinical School. Her research utilizes linked health data to investigate stillbirth risks, gestational diabetes management, and maternal health outcomes.
Research interests include: perinatal epidemiology, preterm birth reduction, gestational diabetes outcomes, Indigenous health disparities, and surgical impacts on pregnancy. She co-chairs the Perinatal and Paediatric SIG of the Australasian Epidemiological Association.
Publications demonstrate consistent focus on population-level pregnancy outcomes. Her 2020-2024 articles analyze gestational diabetes protocols, stillbirth trends, endometriosis impacts, and obstetric intervention outcomes using advanced data linkage methods.
