Professor Miguel Palacios is a faculty member at the University of Calgary, specializing in human capital and asset pricing. His work examines the interplay between human capital risk and firm risk, as well as innovative education financing models. Co-founder of Lumni and A&P Capital, he advocates for income-share agreements (ISAs) to fund education. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from UC Berkeley, an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de los Andes.
