Sebastien Betermier is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University, and serves as Executive Director of the International Centre for Pension Management. He holds a PhD in Finance from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, and has expertise in risk and return, portfolio management, pension systems, and sustainable finance. His research has been featured in top journals and media outlets like the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times. He teaches Applied Investments and Pension Funds courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
