Professor Kenneth M. Eades is a faculty member at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, where he taught corporate finance courses for the full-time MBA, executive MBA, and Executive Education programs during his 30-year career. He held leadership roles, including Head of the Finance Area (1995-2018) and Chair of Darden's Dean Search Committee (2014-15).

His research focuses on corporate finance, particularly cost of capital, mergers and acquisitions, capital investment analysis, defined benefit pensions, and convertible securities. Professor Eades' academic contributions include over 70 case studies, three textbooks, and collaborations with Darden's Institute for Business in Society through the Strategic CFO Roundtable (2008-present). His work bridges theoretical finance with practical applications, emphasizing real-world financial decision-making.
