Miguel Palacios is a Professor at the University of Calgary, focusing on the intersection of human capital and asset pricing, labor economics, and innovative financial instruments for education. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Finance) from UC Berkeley, an MBA from the Darden School of Business, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de los Andes. His research emphasizes measuring human capital risks, its impact on firm risk, and designing equitable education financing models.
