Lester F. Alexander III is the John Glynn Endowed Professor and Professor of Practice in the Finance and Strategy, Ethics & Entrepreneurship areas at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. He combines academic expertise with extensive experience as a venture capital investor, corporate executive, and investment banker. His research and teaching focus on venture capital, entrepreneurship, private equity, and mergers & acquisitions.

Research Interests: Alexander specializes in Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition, private equity strategies, and ethical considerations in business. He actively contributes to the venture capital ecosystem through board roles and advisory work with Jefferson Capital Partners and Ferrara Fire Apparatus. His work bridges academic theory with practical applications in corporate governance and strategic finance.

His advisory roles span investment banking, executive education, and corporate strategy.
