Professor Michelle Turner is a faculty member in the School of PCPM at RMIT University, specializing in construction industry health and well-being, work-life balance, and resilience development. Her research focuses on mental health in high-risk professions, gender equity in male-dominated industries, and enhancing work readiness through education. She is actively involved in curriculum development to bridge academic and industry needs, with a particular emphasis on student resilience and protective factors in construction environments.
Her work addresses systemic issues such as gender bias, work-hour management, and policy implementation to improve occupational health. She leads projects like the 'Building Equality Policy' evaluation and collaborates on initiatives to reduce work-related mental health risks.
