Dr. Payam Pirzadeh is a Senior Lecturer at RMIT University's School of PCPM, specializing in Construction Health and Safety. He holds a PhD in Built Environment, a Master of Applied Science in Project Management, and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Prior to academia, he worked on major infrastructure projects in energy and mining. His research focuses on safety in design, health and safety performance measurement, worker mental health, and improving industry culture. He collaborates with public and private construction organizations and actively supervises research students.
