Dr. Chenjunyan Sun is a Research Fellow at the School of PCPM, RMIT University, specializing in construction management and occupational health and safety. Their work focuses on psychosocial hazards, mental health in the construction industry, and Bayesian network modeling. Key areas include risk management in public-private partnership (PPP) projects and waste-to-energy infrastructure in China. Contact: chenjunyan.sun@rmit.edu.au | ORCID: 0000-0002-1331-9032.
Research Interests:
- Construction safety and mental health
- Psychosocial hazard analysis
- Bayesian approaches in risk modeling
- Machine learning applications in safety
- PPP project risk assessment
- Waste-to-energy infrastructure sustainability
Recent studies include qualitative analysis of mental health challenges faced by construction workers in Australia, latent class analysis of recovery needs, and Bayesian network modeling of psychosocial impacts. Earlier work explored community engagement in waste-to-energy projects in China, emphasizing sustainable development and public acceptance.
Collaborations: Active co-authorship with Prof. Hon CKH, Dr. Way KA, and industry partners like MATES in Construction. Research outputs span peer-reviewed journals and industry reports, addressing both contemporary construction challenges and long-term infrastructure sustainability.
