Michael Carl Green is a Lecturer at Westminster Conservatory of Music, Rider University, teaching piano, jazz improvisation, music theory, arranging, composition, and trumpet. His career spans decades in performance, composition, and music education across jazz and classical genres.

Mr. Green specializes in jazz composition, orchestration, and cross-genre performance practices. He has developed innovative approaches to jazz pedagogy through outreach programs and conservatory instruction, with emphasis on improvisation techniques and ensemble collaboration.

Teaching and Outreach
He directs Westminster Conservatory's Summer Jazz Program, conducts Pennsylvania Jazz Society outreach clinics with Jerry Rife's Rhythm Kings, and performs with the Jubilant Brass Quintet for Philadelphia Chamber Music Society's Children's Concert Series. Mr. Green actively adjudicates regional jazz band competitions and maintains performance schedules across orchestras, pit ensembles, and chamber groups.
