Jason Palmer is an acclaimed trumpeter, composer, and educator affiliated with the New England Conservatory (NEC) as an Assistant Professor in the Jazz Studies department under the College division. He also teaches at Berklee College of Music and Harvard University.
- Research Interests: Jazz improvisation, music composition, trumpet pedagogy, and chamber ensemble dynamics.
- Performance Legacy: Collaborated with legends like Roy Haynes, Herbie Hancock, and Wynton Marsalis; led a quintet at Wally’s Jazz Café for 15 years.
