Mejse Hasle

Mejse Hasle is a Postdoc at the Department of Engineering Technology and Didactics, Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Ballerup. Her research centers on hybrid and remote work, leadership development, and employee well-being in public organizations.

Research Interests:

• Hybrid and remote work dynamics
• Leadership and sensemaking in organizational transitions
• Social capital and trust in distributed teams
• Performance monitoring and employee well-being
• Design methodologies in workplace interventions

Her recent publications focus on hybrid work challenges in Danish public departments, particularly how line managers navigate leadership responsibilities in evolving work environments. The studies employ qualitative methods such as semi-structured interviews and are situated at the intersection of occupational health psychology, public administration, and organizational behavior.

Advising and Grants: Mejse Hasle was a PhD student on the project "Social Capital and Hybrid Remote Work in Danish Municipalities," supervised by Karen Edwards and Kirstine Ipsen. She is currently involved in the ongoing research project "SPACE: Social Capital and Hybrid-Remote Work." She has collaborated on externally funded research initiatives with public sector partners.
