Maria Charalampous

Dr. Maria Charalampous is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Leadership within the Department of Management, and Occupational and Organizational Psychology within the Department of Psychology at the University of London. She serves as Program Director for the MSc in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour.

Her educational credentials include:

• PhD in Occupational and Organizational Psychology from University of Surrey

Her research focuses on remote e-working's impact on well-being, work-life balance, and job effectiveness through psychometric scale development, while actively promoting workplace inclusivity for people with disabilities and neurodiverse individuals. This dual focus bridges organizational psychology and human resource management to create evidence-based remote work frameworks.

Her publication trajectory (2019-2023) demonstrates consistent advancement in remote work measurement, evolving from scale construction to validation and qualitative exploration of worker experiences. These works establish multidimensional frameworks for assessing e-work life balance and effectiveness, highlighting critical intersections between technology use, well-being, and inclusive practices.

As an Early Career Researcher for the 'Remote for All' project, she investigates disability and neurodiversity in remote work contexts.
