Christine Ipsen

Christine Ipsen is a Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) within the Department of Engineering Technology and Didactics, affiliated with the Strategy and Leadership Development unit. She holds additional roles as Visiting Senior Fellow at Nottingham Trent University (UK), Co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Workplace Health Management, and Member of the Editorial Board of Safety Science. Her research focuses on sustainable management, hybrid work dynamics, and organizational interventions to balance employee well-being with performance. Ipsen has developed frameworks like 'Circular Work' and tools such as the Fish-Bone method for participatory workplace interventions. She has supervised multiple PhD students and led projects addressing hybrid work challenges, workplace health, and digital transformation. Notable awards include the Teacher of the Year 2020 and recognition for contributions to organizational transformation research.
