Massimo Proto is a Full Professor of Private Law at Link Campus University in Rome. He teaches courses in Fundamentals of Private Law, Civil Law, and Private Law at the Department of Law and Department of Business and Management. Previously, he served as an Associate Professor at the University of Parma's Faculty of Law from 2006 to 2015. His research focuses on contemporary issues in private law, including civil law, business law, and contract law, with additional expertise in technology transfer and sustainable innovation. He is a member of the PhD programme in 'Tech for good' and contributes to editorial committees of scientific journals.
Prof. Proto holds a PhD in Business Law and is affiliated with organizations such as the Associazione Civilisti Italiani, SISDIC, and SECOLA. He has served as a Banking and Financial Arbitrator and participates in arbitration registers. His professional activities include advising on sports justice codes and harmonizing federal statutes with CONI principles.
He has authored essays and monographs on private law topics. Office hours are held post-lessons, with email availability for appointments.
