Mark Bergen is a Professor and the James D. Watkins Chair in Marketing at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. His research focuses on pricing strategies, channels of distribution, and marketing strategy, with notable contributions to understanding price rigidity, gray markets, and cooperative marketing. Bergen teaches pricing strategy and marketing management to undergraduates, MBAs, executives, and PhD students, earning multiple teaching excellence awards. He also consults for companies across medical, service, food, retail, and industrial sectors.
