Jeffrey Kaufmann

Jeffrey Kaufmann is a Senior Lecturer in the Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship group at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. He teaches courses on Strategy, Managing the Strategic Process, Ethics, Leadership, and Competitive Economics.

Education:

Research Focus: Systematic challenges in strategic implementation, organizational ethics, and regulatory environments. His work explores joint venture failures, ethical behavior management, and medical resident training dynamics.

• Free Press Dissertation Award Finalist (Top dissertation in strategy)

Additional Contributions: Former managing editor of the Administrative Law Review, vice-chair/co-chair for ABA committees, and U.S. Naval Intelligence veteran. His research has been cited in Congressional Reports and Council of Europe judicial affairs documents.
