Marina F. Bykova is a Professor of Philosophy at North Carolina State University and Editor-in-Chief of *Studies in East European Thought*. Her work focuses on 19th-century continental philosophy, German idealism (Kant, Fichte, Hegel), and the Russian intellectual tradition. She holds a Dr. Habil in Philosophy from the Russian Academy of Sciences (1993) and a Ph.D. from the same institution (1985). Bykova has authored or edited over 20 books, including *The German Idealism Reader* (2019) and *The Palgrave Handbook of Russian Thought* (2021). Her research bridges historical philosophy with contemporary issues like geopolitical conflicts and educational reform.
Bykova’s research interests include Hegel’s philosophy of nature and spirit, Fichte’s *Wissenschaftslehre*, and the reception of German idealism in Russian thought.
