Marc-André Éthier is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Education Sciences, Université de Montréal, within the Department of Didactics. He holds a PhD in Didactics (2001) and an MA in History (1994) from the same institution.

He leads the CRIFPE (Interuniversity Research Center on Teacher Training) and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Revue des sciences de l'éducation. His professional roles include organizing international conferences on history education and directing numerous PhD/MA theses.
