Mackenzie Stagg serves as Assistant Research Professor at Auburn University's School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, focusing on housing affordability and building technology. Her research examines products, policies, and partnerships enabling high-performance housing development. Through Auburn's Rural Studio Front Porch Initiative, she collaborates with housing providers to increase equitable homeownership in underserved communities.
Educational background includes Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University. Professional engagement includes designing and constructing ten homes and community projects through Rural Studio, with complementary work at organizations in Birmingham, Christiansburg, and New Orleans.
