Emily McGlohn is an Associate Professor and Extension Specialist at Auburn University's School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, teaching 3rd-year design studio at Rural Studio in Newbern, Alabama. She coordinates the 3rd-year curriculum and serves as job site superintendent, focusing on affordable housing solutions and community engagement in West Alabama.

Labs and Teams: She leads design-build activities at Rural Studio and collaborates with the Alabama Rural Water and Wastewater Consortium (including University of Alabama and University of South Alabama engineers), establishing Rural Studio as the pilot site for decentralized wastewater treatment systems in West Alabama.
