Lynn Fisher is a Professor and Department Chairperson in the Sociology/Anthropology Department at the University of Illinois Springfield. She specializes in Anthropology and Archaeology, with a focus on multidisciplinary field research and cross-cultural comparisons to study long-term social change and human-environment interactions.
- Education: Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Michigan (2000)
Her research explores social change and technology in early Stone Age farming societies in southern Germany, funded by the Fulbright Foundation and the National Science Foundation. She also serves as an adjunct Research Associate in Anthropology at the Illinois State Museum.
