Luca Taschini

Luca Taschini is a Professor of Climate Change Finance at the University of Edinburgh Business School and a Senior Research Consultant in Climate Finance at King's Business School, King's College London. He also serves as a Visiting Senior Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics (LSE). His research focuses on environmental, energy, and natural resource economics, with a strong emphasis on financial mechanisms to address climate change, central bank policies, and regulatory frameworks for sustainable finance.

He is affiliated with the Qatar Centre for Global Banking & Finance, which explores challenges faced by central banks in global financial systems. His work intersects banking, monetary policy, and the green transition, as evidenced by initiatives like student-led debates on central banks' roles in sustainability.
