Swarali Havaldar is a Pre-doctoral Researcher at the Qatar Centre for Global Banking & Finance, part of King’s Business School at King’s College London. She joined in September 2021 after completing a Masters in Economics from the University of Warwick in 2021. Her research focuses on monetary policy, macroprudential frameworks, global financial systems, and financial stability.
Her current projects explore macroprudential policies and their implications for financial resilience. Recent work includes a high-profile study on corporate gaming of greenhouse gas emissions reporting, proposing policy measures to enhance climate finance integrity.
Based at Bush House, Strand Campus (30 Aldwych, London), she contributes to the Qatar Centre’s mission of advancing central bank policy research, including financial stability and regulatory challenges in a global context.
