Lisa Boudreau

Lisa Boudreau is an Adjunct Lecturer in Dance, specializing in Merce Cunningham Technique®. She has extensive performance experience with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company (1994-2008), touring globally in over 35 works including world premieres like Scenario, Pond Way, and Biped. Her teaching spans master classes and repertory workshops at institutions such as the New World School of the Arts (Miami, FL), Louisiana Tech University (Ruston, LA), and The Place (London, UK).

Boudreau has been honored as a Merce Cunningham Fellow (2013, 2014, 2019) and received the Merce Cunningham Trust Research Grant (2020). She has staged solos for Night of 100 Solos and MinEvent for ACES Educational Center for the Arts. Her expertise extends to kinesiology and yoga, holding Yoga Alliance certification and emphasizing efficient strength and mobility in her teaching.

Beyond Cunningham, she has danced with companies including Bill Young, Dylan Crossman Dans(c)e, and Glen Rumsey Dance Project. Her career is documented in Mark Mann's book Movement at the Still Point.
