Linda Ferrell is the Globe Life Professor of Marketing at Auburn University's Harbert College of Business. Her academic career spans multiple institutions, including Belmont University, University of New Mexico, University of Wyoming, University of Northern Colorado, Colorado State University, and University of Tampa. She has secured significant grants in business ethics, including co-managing a $1.25 million Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative grant and contributing to a $5 million fund for the Bill Daniels Distinguished Professor Chair of Business Ethics.

Her research focuses on marketing ethics, ethics training, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability. Ferrell has published extensively in top-tier journals such as the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, and co-authored influential textbooks like Business Ethics: Ethical Decision Making and Cases (12th edition).
Ferrell holds leadership roles in professional organizations, including immediate past president of the Academy of Marketing Science and past president of the Marketing Management Association. She serves on the boards of Mannatech, Inc., the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy-Center for the Public Trust, Direct Selling Education Foundation, and Cutco/Vector College Advisory Board. Additionally, she works as an expert witness in ethics and legal disputes.
