Leah Allen

Leah Allen is an Associate Professor at Grinnell College, jointly appointed in the Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies (GWSS) program and the English department. She teaches foundational courses such as Introduction to GWSS, Theory and Methods in GWSS, and Queer and Trans Literatures, alongside specialized offerings like Masculinity in American Literature and a senior seminar. Her work extends to community engagement through the Liberal Arts in Prison Program, where she has taught a tutorial on Cancel Culture at the Newton Correctional Facility.
