Kim Brouwer is the William R. Kenan, Jr. Distinguished Professor and Associate Dean at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, affiliated with the School of Medicine. Her research focuses on hepatobiliary xenobiotic disposition, mechanisms of transporter-mediated drug-induced liver injury, and the development of in vitro models and pharmacokinetic strategies to predict hepatic transporter effects.
