Kenneth Kyeungrae Oh

Dr. Kenneth Kyeungrae Oh is an Associate Professor in Management and International Business at the Hans A. Nielsen College of Business of Charleston Southern University. He holds a PhD in Strategic Management and International Management from the University of Texas at Dallas, an MBA in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and a BA in Social Science: Communications and Journalism from Seoul National University.

Research Interests: Dr. Oh's work bridges Strategic Management, International Business, and Institutional Theory, focusing on how institutions shape firms' political behaviors (e.g., lobbying, bribery), ownership structures, and product scope in transition economies and Asia. His studies integrate Transaction Cost Economics (TCE), Real Option logic, and institutional determinants to analyze multinational enterprises (MNEs) and ethical challenges in business environments.

Publications & Presentations: His research spans corruption, institutional distance, political behavior, and MNE strategies, with recent work addressing uncertainty in ownership structures and entry strategies. He has presented at top-tier conferences like the Academy of Management (AOM) and Academy of International Business (AIB).
