Kecia Fong is a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute for Culture and Society, Western Sydney University, and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania. She works internationally in heritage conservation, with experience at institutions such as the Getty Conservation Institute, Aga Khan Trust for Culture, and World Monuments Fund. Her doctoral research focuses on the transformation of Yangon through discourses of heritage and international conservation practices.
